Everybody who boosts this crap up really must not have played Chromosome for long because the game was worse. I played Chromosome from start to finish and I don't quite remember so much QQ except for weapon ranges. If we're using my memory for QQ as a barometer for better/worse, I'd say chromosome was orders of magnitude better.
Granted there wasn't as much content but looking back, it felt better balanced than it does now.

Just my .02 Isk <,< I believe more consoles bricked, then there was the more common pop-up bug that made the map pop up when you didn't select it, or those bugs that made you incapable of doing anything(we still have some but they're less common), or tanks being worse off. I honestly remember it as a REALLY bad time compared to now. Funny enough back then, all I heard was take us back to Closed Beta times. And you know what? I'm more than sure Closed Beta was worse off as well but I don't know because I wasn't here until like the last slew of codes were released. When we say that Chromosome was better we are not necessarily referencing the unintended issues. Rather, we are referencing CCP's approach to the game and their vision overall. The vision seems different, not just how we will get there but also where we are going. Aztec gets it.
I miss the vision from closed beta, you know, the one where it seemed like we were going to get an MMORPG as seen through the eyes of an FPS rather than a traditional lobby FPS with minor MMORPG traits.

Health points need to matter again, and for that to happen every shot that hit's should be the player actually aiming for it.
Aim assist in DUST should be a LAV turret locking onto a tank so the Turret gunner can stay pointed at the tank when locked and the driver can kite the tank... and make that a relevant tank counter and enjoyable.
An aim assist that tracks Mercenaries actively with crazy magnetism, ruins any sense of achievement with the aiming in DUST.
This is the way that Aim Assist should work. Vehicles lock each other in Eve, why not in Dust too?
IDK that it should automatically lock onto vehicles within range, I think it should be a player toggled lock. See red vehicle, decide to go in for the kill, initiate lock. I also think it should only work with vehicles, no locking infantry. I am not saying that vehicles shouldn't be able to attack infantry, just that they can't lock them
